The Real Ring Mod is a passive, standalone module. It doesn't need to be connected to the soundlab pcb to function. What i would do, is make a place for it in your Soundlab enclosure, and wire its inputs and outputs to the panel, and simply run your soundlab's output into it, for ring-modulated effects.
