Sync NL3 arp to external MIDI clock

Hello,

I'm trying to sync my Nord Lead 3's arp to MIDI clock coming from an Alesis Micron. According to the manual, to do this I need to set Master Clock to external and turn on arp sync. Once I do this, I get no sound out of the keyboard at all.

I've tested the MIDI clock coming from the Micron. It works fine with every other synth I've tried.

The "Clock" screen under Master Clock reads: Ext 100 BPM Stop.

I'm wondering if this may have something to do with the "Song Position Pointer" mentioned in the manual?

Any help in getting this working would be greatly appreciated.

I have to dig myself into the manual about the Nordlead3 Arpeggiator and syncing it to an external Midi clock, but at the moment I remember there is a terrible bug about this item, which is never repaired...
But like I said, I have to read all again... Crying or Very sad

Thanks for your reply Wout. I'd certainly appreciate any info you can remember about such a bug.

For what it's worth, the addendum to the manual that came with the last NL3 OS update states that "the External MIDI Clock Sync function has been improved so now you should be able to sync up the Arpeggiator and/or LFOs more easily to an external MIDI Clock signal." I'm hoping Clavia wouldn't have said this in their documentation if arp sync didn't work in some fashion, even if it's not perfect!
