Quick update on my Aries system I'm trying to put back together.
Finally got around to cutting the case to size and gluing together.

This time I tried a tung oil finish. The last walnut cab I made I used a polyurethane finish.

Everything fits OK, a big concern with my design, it had to be within 1/64" for everything to look right.

The wood turned out nice.

I have a nice module assortment and they look almost new without any signs of heavy use.

Next I have to make the wiring harness, test/fix/callibrate each module, and mount a new power supply.
I'm half way there? Smile

Hopefully someday I'll get this in Roberts hall of fame of Aries systems. Cool

Great photos!
And a really good job you have done. The modular looks so fine with the custom woodwork and all. This will be an excellent system to work on. Best wishes for the last part of the job!
