WaveThing Multiply/Divide Wave Shaping Circuits

I was playing with this circuit and trying to get sub-sub from the first sub-saw. On this second round of the circuit CD4013 wasn't flipping and flopping, instead stayed at either end. Both circuit did function the same with saw wave from MFOS VCO, but not with the sub-saw from this wavethingsub circuit. I noticed that the sub-saw wasn't oscillating exactly around ground, should it? Is this to problem why I can't get another sub octave from the first sub-saw? Should I try a dc-offset circuit to get it around 0v?
