Which is probably more than enough already. Unfortunately, Since MIDI SYSEX messages only allow 7 user defined bits per data byte, you would need to pack the 18 bits into 3 bytes in the message with 3 bits left over for whatever .... Shocked

That's why I left it at 14 bits. 14 bits provides some very fine control over pitch. I cite 18 bits because the register feeds a 18x18=36 multiplier and it might as well be 18 since the whole multiplier is dedicated to the task even if only 14 bits is applied. So the actual resolution is 14 bits.
