Hi mates, another nord player around here, hi everyone,

Im playing a nordlead 2 in a rock band, i dunno how to use it well yet,

just learning how to make sounds, but still play with the factory sounds of the synth, they really suck!!!!, everything sounds so weird to me guys,

really hard to mixed with the tipical sounds of a rock band,

Do I need to download something from the web???

I added a rat an a delay but everything has zero glue with the rest of the music,

we like minus the bear, battles, tortoise, radiohead...that stuff but I cannot find that kind of textures

Whick rock bands use the nord lead????? is just to listen to them and see what they achieve with it,

maybe i need an nord electro...im not sure,

did you have the same problem??? thanks guys

welcome analogica

Ofcourse we all suffer from the same problem Smile
In fact, it's the biggest problem in synthesizerland: to sound just like somebody else! Even when using the same synth as your idol the problem still exsist! "How do I make the Van Halen ´Jump´ sound`..." is an often heard phrase.

There is just one answer... Try and try and try again. Learn what´s happening when tweaking the parameters. Search for a sound which comes nearby and try to come as close as possible. And remember all times It´s impossible to sound exactly the same!

To get more sounds visit http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/021_Patches/

Two ways:
1. using a sequencer and download the SysEx into the synth.
2 using a special tool, like NordGen or MidiOx or something like that.

See the following post and read also further...
