Has anybody here pulled apart a Roland U20? I may be able to get my hands on a dirt cheap U20 that has a faulty keyboard. I don't need the keyboard and was thinking it might be an interesting project to gut the thing and mount the bits in a 19" rack case. Effectively make a U220 out of it. I really like the U220 but finding a second hand one here in Australia is like looking for the fairy in the bottom of the garden.
The guy selling it can't tell me what size the boards are so I am hoping somebody here would know if this is a feasible project or not.

PS: I am a tech by trade.

Well it turned out that the shipping costs were higher than the thing was worth so I guess I'm not going to find out if it is possible to convert a U20 into a U220. Maybe another day. Crying or Very sad
