Hello.

Well, my knowledge of DSP is pretty limited. I know how to twist a knob on a MIDI controller, send it to Logic and change a parameter on ES1. But that's about it, really.

Sooooooo, could anyone suggest an intro web site or book that could teach me some basics of VST programming? How to make my own VST instruments using C/C++? Things like that...?

Thanks

Igor

zolzer's DAFX book is great for effect algorithms. it inlcudes source code for matlab as well.

do u have any programming skills? if not look for a free programming tutorial online like:

for me the best lead is the VST mailinglist from steinberg. Really interesting articles sometimes.
