Well, it took some time but it's finally finished. I decided to go with the Sound Lab with Sample Hold and the C-3, 8, 9 and 14 timer cap mod and OMG! It sounds simply incredible. I'm still testing but am very pleased with the results thus far. Only one wire was misplaced in the build so I consider that to be a pretty successful build. I have found that running the unit into not only reverb and delay to be pleasing but also pitch shifting effects to be quite extraordinary. I'll probably post a vidy once I'm sure there are no kinks in the unit.

Hey Delayed, here is link to how I make my panels:
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-33991.html

Thanks RF, here is the info on the Blanco Cap mod as found on the SoundLab page from musicfromouterspace.com:

Use Rotary Switches To Change Timing Capacitors
Carlos Adriano B. Blanco of Brazil shares this mod:

I also want to share 3 simple "mods" I made on my own using single pole 10 position non shorting rotatory switches as follow:

* For C8 and C9 (I kept the original 0.001 uF and then I
added 0.0022, 0.0033, 0.0047... and so on)
* For C3 (I did the same but the first position is a 0.5
uF then 1.0 uF, 2.2 uF ... 4.7 uF)
* For C14 also (I kept the original cap then added different
caps for each position)

As a result I've achieved different and cool sounds (may I say almost limitless). I'd be glad if you could publish the modifications in order to share with the electronic music enthusiasts, synth building world and DIY’ers community like me and all over the place as you said. Carlos has given permission to contact him if you have questions concerning the mod. Email him at adrianopy2qa AT yahoo DOT com.

Congrats on the build! The case looks nice.

Certainly a succes when you only have one wire bugging you. I couldn't finish mine, too many problems frustrating me Confused

Thanks Jochem, the case is only temporary until I finish the larger portion of the project. I'm sorry to hear you didn't finish yours. I can relate. I have several unfinished noise toys laying about.

Hey Adhmzaiusz, the mod is super cool. I shot a vidy this morn of it in action. Pretty boring clip but it shows what the cap mod does.

Neato video!

It sounds like the mod switches between different pitches. Does it actually affect the waveform as well? Thanks for taking the time to do this!

The mod does seem to change the pitch and the rate of the attack. However I can't be sure it changes the wave form as I do not own a oscilloscope. It does seem to change the slope or duration of the wave in certain setting.
