Audio noodles with my DR110 handclap module.
THe first sample is my best effort at a handclap. After about 10 secs, I lengthen the initial decay, then the echo decay, then play with the balance and tone. This is followed by the same sequence of controls but with a sawtooth as the noise source, followed in turn by a sine wave. You will also hear where I switch to using 7 rather than 3 initial triggers.

Hi! I have a DR-110 and really want to use its voice circuits in another drum machine. I remember doing this back in the 90s with a TR-909 and a DR-110. It was awesome to have the DR-110 voices under 909 control.

But... I can't remember how I did this. Main thing I need to know:
Will the cymbal and clap sounds work without the CPU board? Do they get noise and cymbal tones from the CPU?

I see a photo in this thread showing only the analog board.
Golly, a TR-909 had enough room I could have stuffed a whole DR-110 inside.

No, I don't have a 909 to mangle for this project. But I do have the 110.

Thanks,
Ben

Amazing what literacy can do.
I re-read this thread and found my answers.
I will use a xiao to trigger my claps!

Thanks!
