Yo,

dunno if it's correct section of the forum but maybe somebody could help.

Last times I've been asked what to press on the Casio CZ-230s control-panel to make it play all 8 voices at once, from the 8 keys pressed on the keyboard.

I must admit I have no idea.

Can anybody help?
Thanx,
Yerz

PS: This is such a machine:

If no-one here can help, try asking on the CZ series group.

You'll have to sign up to Yahoo first though.

each patch/sound is actually made up of 2 voices, thats why you only get 4 note polyphony. i think you can program a single voice patch via sysex, but that would be the only way to do it, assuming it works.

1) Check if SOLO button (next to pitch wheel) is off.

2) Only few of the presets use single DCO, hence are 8-note polyphonic.

3) As for programming thru sysex - you can overwrite last four presets with own patches.

4) When mine was stored without power connected for a few weeks, it started to act funny - some menu settings were unavailable. A factory reset made everything back to normal. Just hold CANCEL and press the power button.
