I just ordered myself a Motorola Droid (or Milestone as it's called over here) as a late christmas present. Does anyone here have experience with Android phones for musical purposes? As I see it, Android ought to be able to compete with iPhone in this and similar fields.

Yeah, there's a set of sequencing, synthesizers, ethereal/ambient, guitar tuners, recorders, editors, and such. Difficult to list, because I haven't seen a good way of listing the Android market apps aside from being in the market itself while on the phone (odd?!). Also, there's a good OSC/MIDI controller, that can access lots of the sensors on the device.
