Nord Wave Sample editor/zone problem Subject description: How to put a sample on just one key? |

Hey,
I'm new here and searched a long time, but still can not find the answer....
I want to trigger samples in my Wave. I add the files in the sample editor, then i select a piece and by "Manual Sample Assign" i choose a root key.
Now i have a problem, because the editor also make the sample an octave higher and lower. The higher part i can solve in the tab "instrument". By "Sample Zone" i choose the same upper key as lower key. But now i have still sounds under my root key and i don't want that!
I want to assign one sample to one key!!! Is that possible??!!! Please help me, because i have some serious gigs comming up!!!!
I'm from holland, so if you can tell me in dutch i realy happy!!!!

Hey,
I just read this in the manual:
A zone in a range cannot be empty, i.e. without an assigned sample. If you want to have some keys that are silent somewhere in a Sample Instrument, just make a selection in the waveform graph of an area that is silent (or Add an audio file that is short, and contains no audio data). Then map this silent sample to a range of keys.
it is not possible!!!!WTF!!! that's realy a bad thing in the editor, now i have to make a silence audio file and put it between every sample
i hope there will be a update soon to fix this! _________________ Nord Stage 88 - Nord Wave - Nord C1 - Nord Modular |
