Please please please don't use USPS for shipping to Europe ! It's a complete hassle, takes weeks and weeks, and the receiver has to pay additional customs fees, postage fees and 21% vat. Just use Fedex or similar. A bit more expensive, but at least it's fast and reliable, without 'hidden surprises'.

Cheers,
_g

It seems to be country-specific. Actually, USPS always worked best for me compared to the other carriers. "Best" means fastest and cheapest for me Smile The carrier I dislike most is UPS, close behind is DHL. Sorry for the OT.

Never had any issue with USPS

You will not pay taxes on the goods if the declared value is below 50euro.

And it depends on how its shipped if you pay yes or not taxes on the shipping amount and/or a fee for administration wich is never above 10e,it doesnt matter if its fedex or usps or anything else

I specified this in the very beginning, and added that if you require different service, let me know, because obviously- it's going to be alot more expensive than the $7 I charged you for shipping. it's not economical for this type of item IMO.. in the past runs I have done, the postal service has done OK with international orders.. however I will say with the TWF run I did they lost a few packages, 2 or 3 of which were US bound Rolling Eyes

Shocked This hurts.

Thanks for your efforts to realize this project and making it available!

Thanks, Josh. Awesome work.

Got mine too-- relieved that the board has part values on the overlay rather than designators so I can at least start stuffing the basics before documentation is available. Thanks topp!

Hi, if you preorderd PCBs, you should have an email from me with total etc, from some time back. this means I HAVE PCBS FOR YOU because you reserved them. please either make payment or let me know asap so I can move on with this.. thank you! as it is I have many more PCBs unclaimed than I had hoped..

yes, posting a new thread dedicated to build questions and the like., I finished the wiring/ I-O diagrams, need to double check it with fresh eyeballs later today. then I'll make the thread, but yes those anxious to get started should be able to get quite abit done with the PCBs and previous build docs. most all of that applies to this board as well. the nomenclature is different but the I/O is all the same, X2.

Sweet! Looking forward to the docs and new thread (though it'll be a while before I can start on these)

...and yes, PCBs arrived Saturday in good shape...

so by now all US and overseas orders paid before last week have shipped- Ill be making another trip to the PO sometime in the next few days to ship the stragglers, then I'll evaluate the situation with surplus boards. if you have already PMed about extras, please don't keep doing so, or posting here.. I have your name already, 1 PM is all it takes.

thanks!

Anyone in UK (or Europe) received their boards yet?

Not sure how long these are likely to take, but I ordered stuff from the US since these which arrived early last week.

So, perhaps a few "received my boards" posts maybe useful after all.

Don't worry LektroiD, usually stuff shipped from the USA come in europe in 10 days or so.
And the proof is that I've received my boards today.
Thanks Josh!!!
