unclear on rooms...still |
 |
|
I have a question I just cant seem to get answered.
Two phone messages and an e-mail using the websites contact/info request asking about other available accommodations on site for non EM participants have yielded no response. (All those messages were left weeks ago with about a week or more inbetween each).
In a nutshell what I am trying to determine is if my family can stay elsewhere onsite and do their own thing while I attend the conference, which would allow me to sleep with them in their cabin. Clearly there are cabins there. I believe EM is not taking up the entire facility, so...what do I have to do to get some basic information here?
Any help appreciated.

Please don't contact Greenkill directly - there are no other accommodations on site that are available. You can make arrangements for as many people as you want, but they must be a part of our group. _________________ www.gregwaltzer.com |

The reason I sent an e-mail inquiry to begin with originally is because I got information (from you I believe) that wasnt clear regarding the availability of single rooms. It seemed that there might be single rooms available, but then when I asked for clarification I was told that no there are not, and I would have to pay double if I wanted to stay in a room _by myself_.
It seems hard to believe that a facility of that size would have not a single single room. In my experience with conventions (both attended and the three Ive organized) if you make an inquiry to the facility you can get more comprehensive information on other available options. But no worries, since they don't respond to inquiries of any kind anyway, I wont be contacting them.
So, help me understand this: if non EM attendees want to stay on the facility as part of our group, this is possible? How would that work with respect to room charges? _________________ "Be still Taggart, be still! There are no single rooms in the buildings we are using (or any other buildings that we've seen).
You can order tickets for family members the same way you order them for yourself - a three day pass or single day with food optional. Sorry, there is no discount for people who don't attend the festival. The costs to us are the same, and we hope to cover the costs so we can continue to have events in the future. _________________ www.gregwaltzer.com |
