Nord Piano or Stage EX 88!?! Subject description: Nord Piano or Stage EX 88!?! |

Ok so i just have a quick question that most people are having trouble answering right now.
So all i want is a keyboard that is transportable that is as close to a piano as i can possibly get. I checked out the Nord Piano and was shocked at what they have done. But if the Nord Stage EX 88 has the exact same thing and more, then i would go with the stage. But so far from what i have seen, the Nord Piano is more attuned towards being like a piano, such as the pedal, the string resonance, the sound created from the pedal, all the different pedal effects, etc.
But again i am not sure, so if you guys know that would help a lot.
Thanks guys,
Jamal |

The Nord Piano only has the piano section from the Stage EX but with added features.
So if you decide on the Stage EX you'll lose some of the piano features in the NP88, and if you decide on the NP88 you'll lose the organ and synth sections.
Depends on how you're planning on using the instrument. If you'll never need organs or synths (like myself) go for the NP88.
If you think that you might need the extra synths and organs go for the Stage EX but without all the piano jazz from the NP88. |
