The demo is quite interesting. Cool

Has anybody played with this yet? I downloaded the demo to see how it behaves. It doesn't seem too expensive.

Yes, I like it. Nice 259-ish oscillator, wave shaper, nice filter, 2 EGs, sequencer... Sounds very good. Not a 200e but I think this is one to watch.

They recently released Aalto v. 1.2 which also works in Windows.

This is a fun, inspiring, great-sounding plugin! Having never used a Buchla before it gives me a sense of what the Complex Oscillator & Lowpass Gate are all about. I haven't bought it (yet!) but I have been inspired to replicate some if its functions in VAZ Modular.

Madrona Labs is now saying that a purchase of Aalto gives you $100 credit towards their Soundplane A controller:

"Remember, if you're an Aalto customer, you have already put $100 towards a Soundplane, and this discount is valid with the introductory price. Just remind me when you reserve and I'll refund your $100 on receipt."
