Hi Forum people!

I am Gert van Santen, and I'm from the Netherlands. I've done a load of music in bands, projects, and I even sung in a choir and played the recorder in a quartet (OK, I was very young then).

At the moment I earn a living with translating novels (SF, mostly) and magazines (Star Wars Fact File, Real Robots; that kind of stuff). I also do the odd commercial or tv leader, oh, and I'm composing stuff for a net-based library music company.

Music wise I am in too many projects - because I'm addicted to sound. The most important one is Wave World, a multi-media project with electronic ambient / space / and dance music plus a big 3D computer graphics show. We have done quite a lot of interesting gigs in Poland, Great Brittain, the Netherlands and the USA, and we are hoping to do a big concert with 3D computer visuals during the electro-music 2005 event, plus perhaps some improvided minimal techno gigs in small clubs.

I am really looking forward to visit Philadelphia again (we did some gigs there in 2000), and meet a lot of you people.
I have been to several music meets organized by internet based forums, and all I can say is: they rock!

Gert. So glad to have you here.

You and Wave World are pretty well known around Philadelphia by the electro-heads here. We look forward to see you at electro-music 2005 in June.

We had an excellent time, there, and we met some wonderful people, whom we are still in contact with today!

We are very much looking forward to visit again, especially with such a cool and important event.

Yep, still on the "old" NM keys. I was actually planning on buying the G2, but got sidetracked and ordered a Spektralis. I'm very much into specialized boxes these days.
