Nomad Not working with Micro Modular on OS X 10.6

I've really got a problem here - I've read every thread imaginable on this on the forum, but none seem to really be clear.

I am running mac os 10.6 and just picked up a micro modular, and I can't get it to detect the micro no matter what configuration of midi I have it with, which java driver I use, or anything.

I also can't get the clavia editor to run, EVEN WITH rosetta.

Can anyone please help me out? I don't want to have to sell this thing!

Hello there! Although I have not tried setting Nomad up with 10.6 yet, I found that some tinkering and patience was necessary to get it running. I must have drag-and-dropped Java packages to/from the /Library/Java/Extensions directory about 20 times before having success.

What kind of MIDI interface are you using? I got it running in 10.5.8 on my old iBook. It looks like I have the Mandalone and the Nomad-included Java packages in my Extensions folder at present.

Ultimately the way I had success with connection to my Micro was that I had to leave the USB MIDI ports set to what Nomad originally wanted them to be. If I tried to change them to other ports, it would bomb out with errors.

Let us know how it turns out. And if you must sell, I'd be happy to buy if the price is right. I hope you get it working though. Good luck.
