Question about CV gate |
 |
|
So if I want to send CV gate signals to two different ADSR modules it occurs to me that I need a multi module that splits the gate signal to the VCF and VCA ADSR's. Unfortunately I don't see a Yusynth multi module. Is it possible to used stacked patch cables or will that split the gate voltage output? It seems that this method would produce two gate outputs with reduced voltage. Also would it be possible to use the Yusynth mixer as a multi module(since each output is amplified)? This is probably a silly question with a simple answer, I'm just not sure since I have never used a modular synth (until now ). |

A multiple module is basically a collection of interconnected jack sockets and mounted on a face plate. So simple, so basic that I would not spend time to write a page.
For the ADSR you can simply do what I am doing on mine: put the two ADSR modules side by side and solder a wire on the input lug of the GATE input socket of one of the ADSR, then solder the other end of the wire to switch lug of the GATE input socket of the other ADSR. This way if you plug your GATE signal in the GATE input of the first ADSR then you drive both and if you plug another GATE signal from another source in the GATE input of the second ADSR it breaks the connection between them and each ADSR is driven independently. _________________ Yves Last edited by yusynth on Thu Jul 14, 2011 12:49 am; edited 1 time in total |

| Ah ok I didn't realize it was that simple. Thank you very much for the help. |
