Hi - I'm looking for a circuit that will take a standard ramp wave, and use it to activate 4 different outputs with ramps of their own.

When the signal rises from 0 to 2.5, output A would rise from min to max. As the input goes from 2.5 to 5, output A would drop back down to 0, and output B would rise from 0 to max. As the signal goes from 5 to 7.5, B would drop back down, while C goes from min to max and so on.

These output would be used to drive a group of VCAs to distribute an audio signal to different channels.

Has anyone got something like that in their bag of tricks?

Thanks
Gary

This is on my to-do list -- I've worked out block diagrams but haven't yet prototyped it.

I plan to accomplish this with op-amp absolute value stages (rectifiers, basically) along with level shifting stages.

Cool! What I'm looking to do is create something similar to the Buchla 227, shown here in Alessandro Cortini's wonderful 'Happy' video.... The module is in the upper right corner of the machine.
You can really see the effect starting at about 1:10 into the video.
My thought is that if I get this circuit and use it drive an SSM2164 it would be just awesome. Put 4 of em in a box, with an LFO or two, and your head would explode.
Gary

BTW - If you feel like sharing your block diagram, I'd love to see it.
