Blofeld Matrix button with some delay... |
 |
|
Hi
I have a Blofeld that seems to have a small problem.
The button for accessing the the LFO and EG part of the matrix sometimes has some delay.
You can hear the button clicking, but the function only changes a while after (sometimes even when I click on it another time, which makes the light change really fast).
Since it's covered by the warranty, I was thinking of taking it for a repair, but I'm just a bit afraid the tech can mess with it (my Nord G2X came back with the Mic Input not working properly...), and since the warranty expires soon, I'm not sure it is really worth it...
I know this synth has some fame for having some problems, so I'm slightly afraid that changing some pieces on it might lead to other problems, and then I won't have warranty to protect me...
Is this an easy problem to fix, or it can lead to some future troubles?
Thanks in advance,
Best

Don't be so paranoid! Get it serviced ASAP before the warranty runs out! _________________ ACHTUNG!

I'll take it to repair before the warranty expires then
If the store was nearby, I would have taken it there before, but the store is still some hours away...
But I will have to go there before it expires then. |

Has anyone had this problem too?
Is that I don't think I will pass nearby the store anytime soon, and when I'm starting thinking about it... the trip will likely cost as much as the repair would cost later...
And to be honest, the problem is not too bad, so I'm not sure what to do...
Can it be some dust, or some bad soldering that can be easily redone by someone skilled?
Thanks in advance,
Best
