I finished building the CGS digital noise module and wanted to include it in a new track. Since I haven't done a recent track with my Mega Percussive Synthesizer (MPS) module I decided to use it, too.

My MPS is quite flexible because I modified it to accept CV inputs. I've tweaked quite a few things on the MPS. For such a compact module it does a lot and, depending on how one adjusts the knobs, it can sound very "electronic" or very "natural".

The Digital Noise module is also voltage controlled and -- at it's heart -- has an audio frequency clock. At high frequencies the noise sounds similar to analog noise but as the clock speed is reduced the noise sounds "gritty".

One of my interests is to start improvisations with seemingly random sounds that, over time, develop into patterns. I also like to work with my clock dividers to create complex rhythms.

Thanks, Phobos! You could probably program one on a chip Wink
