emSynth Concept Designs Subject description: Brain candy |

So I build my first emSynth board, ten of which are due to be shipped on Monday, and plug it in the edge position of a full sized breadboard. Next attached is a flexible solar cell exactly the twin of the one on the "romantic" Generation 2 first synth. And then for some crazy reason i put the Android phone on the breadboard.

Aha! what I will do is attach the phone with Velcro to the back of the breadboard and connect it with an expansion device to 42 emSynth processors on the top of the breadboard. What could you do with a thing like that?
One idea would be to build neural nets into each emSynth processors, complete with sigmoid transfer function and backprop training. Then connect them in a seven stage loop of six processors per position. Connect one of the ring positions to the interface device.
Now that I've learned how to write apps for Android I can then code applications that interface with the emsynth loopy brain of neurons (thousands of them) all circulating whatever is put into them and trained with some objective function and backprop.
Wow what you can do with emSynth, huh? You tell me what you plan to do with emSynth or what you imagine is possible in this thread. Enjoy.

a word about Metavers Core and app writing in general. A library callet detai (named for japanese phone culture is available for download. Once installed, which is easy to do, the Processing language has access to the sensors and networking of the Android phone.
With this I can create apps that communicate with each other, starting with a chat link and going from there into communication between emSynths. That leads us to many possibilities.

What about a program that plays itself as notes on a byte scale of 0 to 255? Like the midi scale, which has how many notes on it? whatever. just a thought.
