Couldn't resist at 18NZD. Might take awhile to figure it out. |

Funnily enough, that's what the price turned out to be in the US, "unreasonable attitude" or no.
But to me that is water under the bridge. The sounds are quite inspiring and I look forward to leaning heavily on this particular synth in my continuing IOS music adventures. _________________ Current and recent work on Soundcloud

Took me a we while to figure out all the bits but now it's the most fun you can have for the price of a three pack of work sox.
Only one crash so far, I bet it goes real well on an ipad air. |

Runs great on my iPad 4th gen.
The in-app manual is a nice touch (don't have to be online to read the manual - key feature for those of us who like to make music on the train!), but it seems like half the controls mentioned in the manual are hard to find on the synth panel (like "control #18"). Looking forward to a proper video tutorial. _________________ Current and recent work on Soundcloud

This obscure "lala" person made some new presets for it, will be included in the next version with the bug fixes.
It will be much easier to figure out what is going on with the new presets. |

It had to happen? Even I thought of the idea. But then who wouldn't? _________________ ACHTUNG!

I think that is a great idea, and it should be expanded upon. I'd love to see a modular concept with a touch screen involved, my favourite would be Aalto in hardware form, and also people seem to want a touchable editor for the G2 as well by the look of it. It will be interesting to see if the market matures for this kinda thing. _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

Hello,
I am delighted by this émultation the iVCS3 with which I find my reflexes I had when I used the Ems Synthi Aks . A "Synthi Ak"s with whom I worked for 13 years in 1981 . Designers have done a tremendous job of programming to bring this synth that allows real sonic explorations. What I like is the ability, in particular to introduce the three oscillators or frequency filter , frequencies very specific Hz. So, this iVCS3 is also a very nice educational tool and it allows me to explore concretely, with a soundstage in height, territories microtonality .
And indeed, I have a question on setting the virtual keyboard, DK Keyboard. I understand how to tune the keyboard , especially from the frequency of F # ( 369.99 Hz) with "Frequency" , how to adjust the tuning frequency with Tuning Spread , but instead I remain clearly with a division of 12 semitones octave , hence the question, how to obtain a division of the octave into 24 parts ( quarter note ), 19 or 21 notes / octaves ?
Does anyone have the solution?
Sorry for my bad english. |

Excellent...
I learned to patch synthesizers on a Moog Modular, and used the ability to stretch and shrink the octaves all the time. Too bad that feature is found on so few new synths, even the soft ones. _________________ --Howard
