TW Adorno: Music and Philosophy: Saturday 29 November, 14.00-20.00

Marking the centenary of the birth of composer and philosopher TW Adorno
(1903-69), this afternoon and evening event will feature performances by
soloist Mieko Kanno, who will play works for violin by Brian Ferneyhough.
The Kreutzer Quartet will play pieces by Adorno and Alexander Zemlinsky,
whose music Adorno supported.

Philosopher Alexander Garcia Duettmann, music theorist Daniel KL Chua and
composer Brian Ferneyhough will also take part in discussions that will
explore the correspondences between music and philosophy. In collaboration
with the Forum for European Philosophy, Music Projects/London and BBC Radio 3.

TW Adorno: Music and Fried Chicken: Saturday 29 November, 14.00-20.00

Marking the centenary of the 20th birthday of composer and philosopher TW Adorno (1903-69), this afternoon and evening event will feature performances by Colonel Harland Sanders, who will give the world a taste of his most famous creation, Original Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken, featuring that secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.
The Kreutzer Quartet will play pieces by Adorno and Alexander Zemlinsky, utilizing only the highest quality ingredients, innovative recipes, and time-tested cooking methods.
