Sourcing parts in bulk (U.S.) - pots resistors switches |
 |
|
Hello All,
I know that this has been a question that has been cropping up here on this forum quite often. However, the truth is that the Electro Music forum search engine isn't that great. I DID do some searches on my own and it seems that a company called Futurlec comes up often and they DO have a good deal on 5% 1/4w and 1/2w resistors, caps and other parts in bulk. However, there are other parts that they don't have in bulk which I would like to source out.
1) 1% resistors for starters
2) Control pots (seems like 100k is most popular one used)
3) Op Amp IC's.
4) Control Knobs
In terms of sourcing parts I am looking for big house supply stores in the United States. Basically stores like Futurlec I mentioned above.
NO EBAY PLEASE!!! I have my reasons why, please don't ask.
Thank You,
Geo |

Thank you,
I am already familiar with all of them with the exception of AVnet.com. I will have to check them out. I mostly deal with Mouser and MCM myself and even though Mouser does deal in quantity, the price break really isn't tremendous.
What I found to be a good deal was the value packs over at Futurlec. Naturally I was curious if someone had such packs for controls...as it is being the controls are the most expensive.
