Hi

Any ideas on the ferrite beads? I saw on some topic that 10r or was it 10k resistor or was it capacitor could do it also?

A 10R resistor is pretty useless, and if the module draws any significant current it makes the rails unstable.

I doubt a bass drum voice *does* draw much current, but if I didn't have ferrites I'd just put in a wire jumper. It's just HF isolation on the rails, it's not as critical as even the bypass caps.

IME ferrite beads are ferrite beads, and I've never seen anyone specify a particular part/imedance/etc. It just needs to be one that fits the space available.

Hi

Question about the midi cv drums, can this be used with normal midi devices or do I need to have something else? Not familiar with the sysex messages. Can I example trigger these with my MPC via midi?
