Major undestatement. This is a facinating noodle. I hear a a small ensemble of percussionists. There is a main player which sounds like The Great Quintini on cans or pots and pans.
Great long term variation here too. You can listen for a long time; lots of changes.
This is superb, Jan. _________________ --Howard

Glad you like it, some words about it.
After about a week of sailing we ended up in Harlingen, an old harbour on the Waddenzee (the sea below the northern Dutch islands). Arriving there we came into a sort of a party not working out too well because of the rain, endless rain. A few teenage girls were dancing in the rain and a DJ (not in the rain of course) was making beats in a synced and very loud manner.
Anyway I got inspired a bit by this heavy 120 BPM stuff going on in this old harbour (a somewhat strange combination certainly after a week of relative silence) and as I had my laptop with me I started up the NM demo software to try to make someting alike (which is a good way to quickly empty the laptop's batteries BTW).
Well that was fun, but after coming home I thought it was not too good, or crap maybe. Luckily I then found this thread about micro beats that I didn't really understand but which triggered my imagination somehow and suddenly I ended up with this patch.
Sort of a first go at μbeats, without knowing anything about it really, hence the understatement ... maybe :-)

Oh, so that is why this noodle has such a strict rythmic structure (unlike your other noodles).
This one sounds nice! _________________ varice |

Tempo based noodles, I love them! Have been exploring these myself lately...
I like this one alot Jan! This one is great fun, but it really comes alive when you assign all the knobs, some morphs, turn the internal clock off and sync it up to a drumcomputer!

Misty, if you have "enhanced" this noodle with knob assignments, would you please post it? Thanks... _________________ --Howard

Ofcourse, no problem.
Assigning tons of controllers/morphs to patches like these and
then start tweaking them to death is so much fun
But I'm afraid you'll have to wait a few days, no connection @ home |

Thanks, Mother... It IS fun turning those knobs. With this noodle, I find turning them slowly is the most satisfying. _________________ --Howard

Can't really try this, no real knobs here ... so ... I should make a patch now I guess to automate the knobs, slowly :-)
Ah well, I'm quite happy now someone liked the patch enough to make knob assignments for it.
