Hello together,

my Nord Modular G2 is not connecting to my macbook pro with os 10.9.5. I was told by someone that it shouldn't be a problem, the editor software is running though but simply does'nt recognize the G2. The guy I know who said it works had to try loads and loads of different USB cables until he found one that works. I tried all I have here at home and nothing worked. With my Imac 10.9.4 running it easily connects. Does it maybe have something to do with the usb ports (got a new macbook that has usb 3 compatible ports)?
Or is maybe some other driver or whatever missing?

Thanks for any hint,
Laurentius

I have found that the new Apple USB3 ports don't work with quite a bit of stuff, I use a USB2 hub for all the devices that don't work directly and that fixes the problem (apart from my virus TI which just won't work at all Sad ).

So give the USB2 hub a go and see if that fixes it.
