Hi All,
I'm back after a long absence (2008), grad school, divorce, playing heavy metal with my high school age son, and concentrating on tablets rather than analog hardware pushed analog work to the background. A couple of years ago I noticed folks in Detroit such as Warren Defever doing drone music on little mini analogs like the Taurus. Got a Werkstatt a little over a year ago and it's now broken out with CV banana connections and a mixer into the filter. Also started working with a little wearable $20 computer called Codebug that has LED outputs, taping those to light sensing resistors gives me 8 channels of mostly linear DAC control. Am programming the thing in Python and blast code into it over its USB serial connection. The live setup is packed into a tupperware flat box like what you keep blankets in I call the Synth Boat (pic attached). Will be playing at the new year's eve broadcast, then at Trumbullplex in Detroit on Jan 26, and then hopefully at Electro Music in Indianapolis. Should be an interesting year Smile.

very cool rig, I'm interested in the Python programmed optical resistors. I have two Circuit Playground's from Adafruit that I've interfaced to Puredata as a test and got some audio control from them. Need to take it further (or not).

Also working with Cfish on the Credit Card Synth you might find interesting.

Why don't we compare notes sometime.

Les
p.s. I 3D print stuff like small objects.
