Subject description: Fixing dual use items

I have (genuine) health challenges that make it impossible to process "puzzlements"... like, sorting out a breadboard, or flipping a perf board over and inverting the image correctly, to make the connections... I do much better with creating a pcb, having it manufactured and using the silkscreen, to keep me oriented, when soldering it up.

It appears to me that Mr. Wilson made his schematic for the WSG to be a multi-use tool. I think that it includes both the pots and switches that are wired off of the PCB and the wire solder pads for those same items. This is the very type of thing that I cannot sort out.

I am using KiCad for this project. With that tool, the schematic you create is directly translated to the PCB. So, you can only have things in the schematic that will actually be on the board.

I am having difficulty envisioning what to keep and what to discard. I am particularly confused about whether all the needed pads have been included. I see that, at least on some switches, only one pad has been provided; I think there should be two.

I have completed the rough draft of the schematic in KiCad. (I will be proofing it.) I am hopeful that someone can take my file and remove the off-board items and check the pads. Or, maybe someone can just make corrections to a copy of the original schematic; the pdfs are included. Once completed, the schematic would be helpful, not just to me, but to anyone wanting to make a custom PCB.

Thank you for your help!
