I've finally finished my Sound Lab ULTIMATE and ULTIMATE EXPANDER! It's in tune and sounds great! Now I just need to figure out how to use the thing.

I've made the 3D printed panel design public, in case anyone else with a printer wants to use one of these. I put both of these modules in the same case, but I also included separate auxiliary panels in case there are folks out there who want to put the ULTIMATE and ULTIMATE EXPANDER in separate cases, just as Ray had designed.

You can find the STL files for printing at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2704888

I also built in a MIDI to CV module in the case. That is totally optional, as the panel for that is completely separate. The design for that is over at: https://github.com/elkayem/midi2cv.

Here are a few photos:

That looks really, really good!

The text is 3D printed, too?

Thanks!! Yes, the text is 3D printed too. I configured the printer to automatically pause at a specific height, then swapped out the black filament for the white.

Thank you synthcube! And PHOBoS! And Blue Hell!

synthcube, those are your PCBs in my box, and everything seems to be working great! Really nice design from Ray. Such a shame we won't see more.
