Is there a clean way of having a complete html (including embedded pics) page show up in a post without links to an external website? I think this forum (as well as the DIY area) could host detailed projects, but proper documentation would do well. However, it'd be nice to keep that all on *this* site/server, rather than linking external pages, which tend to get broken over time.

I guess something like this would also go far for musicians forum areas (pics and other nice info in a more artistic visual format), howto's complete with step-by-step photos, etc.

am I off my rocker?

Kinda like the stompbox forum, layouts and such. That'd be sweet. I mentioned something a while ago in the DIY section about a "layouts gallery"
