I talk a little about this on my Buchla Noodles page:
http://www.xfade.com/Buchla
I'll try to write more in depth about it tomorrow.

I'm not using the DJ control surface in any sort of DJ fashion, but just as a general control surface that I can map to various things.
I put up a brief description of the Gyre program I'm using with my Buchla at http://www.xfade.com/Gyre/
My 200e configuration is listed on my main Buchla page: http://www.xfade.com/Buchla |

by the way, off topic, but that Scrambler patch of yours is pretty trippy. I tried it on a couple of environmental recordings I did in my back yard (birds, people, airplanes, the usual noises) and it was quite interesting. Nice patch.

Hi Ambi-J,
Wow, looks really interesting! How about some close-ups and some detailed info? And I noticed that you're in Belgium. Any chance you can bring some of this cool gear to the synth event this summer? _________________ Dave Peck |

Thanks K! I'm in Shawnee on the west side. I'm mostly over in the DIY section of e-m but just now got some pics up over here. There are at least 3 of us KC folks, surprisingly. And Scott Stites is just a few hours south of us.
A Mid-America synth meet, you ask??? Hmmm. I considered the ones in Austin and Indiana but they're both 10-11 hours from here - ouch.
I need some go-racks at any rate 'cause all my stuff is in tall heavy wood racks...
And now back to your regularly scheduled worldwide broadcast |

Thanks--it's all about the colors (and the bananas).
You've got an impressive selection of modules. I admire the mix-and-match approach. |

The 1/4" - 1/8" is a PITA and ideally one format is good. I recommend lots of adapters. And Y's - but you wouldn't know about that Actually I made a bunch of 1/8 - 1/4 cables too. But there's just no way to get something like Bruce's Quantizer or VCDCO in Frac or Euro so what are ya gonna do.? I like the cutting edge stuff. Well as much as I can afford. It's worth the adapter shuffle to have leading edge modules like these. I do see the banana advantage though, especially for CV's that spread out like spider webs
happy knob twisting to all

These pictures are many years out of date. I have even more stuff now. When I get the place cleaned up and organized I'll take new pictures.

My little old MOTM, which I had to sell before it was big enough to be interesting. My plan is to buy a Voyager next, then use that as an entry point for another MOTM system.
