I didn't know you had a Lambda! I love my Lambda, it's one of my favourite instruments (great rich tone for running thru modular processors as well)

Hi synth lovers, my first post ! Embarassed
It's taken a year but my 44 space cab is almost filled. Just waiting for the last 5 modules I ordered, 2 eg's ,vca and state variable filter with mixer.
Its now a hybrid with the recent addition of an Encore frequency shifter, MOTM multiplexer and Oakley phaser. I actually have modules left over so it looks like i'm going to need a second cabinet. Smile

Nice dotcom rig. Do you have any problems importing the modules?

Thanks. No problems fitting them, the MOTM/Oakley modules are the same height but 1/2" narrower so there is a gap at the end of the row. The screw holes dont line up. Anything with a large pcb at right angles to the panel tends not to fit the lower row because of the sloped front. All modules use +-15v and dotcom sell a connection adapter for $12 which just clips in. I bought from a friend who was dismantling and selling his nice oak cabinet system recently(pictured below). I also bought 2 MOTM dual lfo's, which are now fitted. Cool (dotcom dont make dedicated lfo's).

Added a sequencer and a couple blank panels.

The last unused rack space will soon be occupied with a PolyDac MIDI to CV interface

What is the rack frame you have? I am looking for something like that (not necessarily tilted), but have only found deep cabinets.

Nice rack, I like the sloped front, very handy for modules. It looks like you haven't enclosed the modules though? I guess there is no 'kitty' there. (I have to blank all my spaces to keep my cat out of the cabinet Smile )
I just noticed the Andy, my current dream, is that a grey version or a trick of the light?

That rack is a Quik-Lok 28 space I got on clearance at Musician's Friend. I don't think it's available anymore...

No kitty here; mine died Sad. My A6 is the blue version, the most common. To my knowledge they only came in two colors: blue and a limited edition red. Did they produce grey ones?

I guess not , but that light blue looks quite grey from certain angles.

i was just about to ask that myself.

my favourite rack case so far is the space case... maybe next year when i've got the attic/studio redecorated i'll see if i can source one out (or a close equivalent) from somewhere in europe... or maybe investigate a DIY version.

you might like this one too then (slightly naughty as there's no modular in it, though there's the knobbage of my old p600). Eugene and Phoolan doing their noise duet...

Oh, the only blue is around clusters of knobs. The empty area is just grey.

...or is it gray? I forget Razz

I am currently working on a page that lists all the modules.... CGS takes up the majority built on MOTM format panel from Bridechamber.

Modcan B-Series fit great and look amazing, I hope to add more in future.

I guess I'll put my 2 cents worth in, here is my setup as of now.
The system is mostly dotcom modules, with a few of my own thrown in.
I was going to start a small cabinet of MOTM modules, but waiting 3 or 4 months for modules, is just not my cup of tea.

Are there custom modules on there as well? I see stuff that isn't on the BC site.

I just buy blank panels, drill and label myself. I would rather have more synth modules than pay for expensive FPE panels, etc.

It's all about the sound for me. I don't really care if something is labelled with stickers, it still has the same functions.

Heres my system so far. Nothing is in it's final position. I finished the cabinet recently and was just happy to get the modules up off of every surface in the house. There are a few blank panels (pcbs are finished but haven't made mounting brackets yet) and a couple modules that aren't wired yet.

Photon - looks great, any chance on a close up front shot. I am interested in a close up of those big knobs (insert smart ass comment here).

Thanks AP. Very Happy
These are actually 10 turn pots with a built in numeric readout. sorry about the blurry picture. The reflective surface on the panel freaks out the cameras autofocus pretty good.
