I've been looking over OBS, Open Broadcaster Software. Why? Because it's free and seems to do the job. I'm sure that there are other options.

What did you choose and why?

I used it once for my Facecrook stream test so I've barely kicked the tires. I only had DSL internet at the time. Now that I have a cable modem, I imagine that the test would have better results.

I haven't gotten as far as using plugins. I'd love to hear about the switching plugin that you're using.

I had to upgrade to fibre broadband before I felt happy with my stream's video quality, I did one stream on ADSL but it was quite lo-fi and fuzzy Very Happy
