Silent demo of MIDIPlexus now at its minimal level of functionality. Hopefully my studio will be fully functional next month and I will post a demo of its use.

The next level of functionality will include the programable Sequencers. This will require Plexer, MIDIPlexus' control language, to be substantially functional as well as the importing of MIDI files and their conversion to PlxResources. Both these facilities are well underway. A sequencer plays a note each time the snare is hit and the previous notes are "pushed" around the drum heads. A pedal press stops this and allows the notes present on the heads to be played for improvisation. A plexus melody/motif Resource contains an analysis of the the melody's contour and harmonic implications (using the Hindemith root algorithm). This will allow the algorithmic improvisations.
