A small project that came about quite quickly. I was experimenting with the Polykit DCO to see what changes could be made and also how to get dual DCOs per voice. After some input from a colleague it was possible to add FM to the DCOs and alter the detune so all voices detuned negative rather than spreading around the root note. Combining two Pi Picos from one MIDI feed allowed for dual DCOs and they stay perfectly in sync.

I then designed the LFO, filters, noise and envelope sections to go with my DCO boards. The programmer came from an older project where the programmer was replaced. Unfortunately all these ready made boards from other projects made construction into an enclosure a little tricky. But having bought a 3U rack I decided to give it a go.

A total of 4 processors are used in the design, two Picos for voicing, a Teensy 3.6 for programming and an Arduino Mega for the MIDI control and routing via a 3x3 merger from another project.

Digitally controlled oscillators similar in design to the Roland Juno series using dual Raspberry Pi Pico's.
Dual DCO with Sawtooth and PWM waveforms individual mixing of each.
Multipole filters based on the Oberheim Matrix 12.
Dual LFOs for PWM and main synth, main LFO 16 waveforms, PWM LFO Sinewave only.
6 voice polyphonic dual DCOs per voice.
Aftertouch control over DCO LFO depth, filter LFO depth or filter cutoff.
Log and lin envelopes.
Looping envelopes.
Velocity sensitivity for filters and amplifiers.
Analogue chorus similar to Juno 60.
999 memory locations to store patches.
MIDI in/out/thru - channels 1-10 only.
