A clumsy G2 emulation of the BOSS Dr.Beat 66 metronome (did let the tap tempo out though ) I hope this can be useful for somebody!! it was a good patching lesson for me anyway.

feel free to show me this can be made with less half the modules Wink

Maybe also have a look at : http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-3292.html&highlight=tap+tempo where Fozzie posted a tap tempo patch (that everyone downloaded but noone responded to  )

thanks Jan
I saw this patch but its not worth the hassle , it will not work on the demo because it sends itself a midi cc (cc20=tempo) and as clumsy as my patch is it already uses too much Memory to add another 73 % ....

may be Clavia will add the tap tempo one day ...

maybe something like this can help you reduce DSP resources ?

Using modules with many outputs is pretty expensive (DSP wise), and using a generator for each click as well. So I tried to find something using less of both.

I know about nothing when it comes to counting in music, but it seems to me this aproach can count in a lot of ways.

As an alternative for the accents section you could use a sequencer, it probably is a bit cheaper and it will allow you to count to 16 instead of 8.

And for some reason the thing wont count to 2, there's always something with counters & Clavia & me.

Anyway, just an idea.

Jan.
