My A6 was indeed suffering from the malady so I took the whole thing apart, and did the Deoxit Fader5 deep clean suggested in the video:

However, after about a month of rock-solid operation it started to happen again, and I noticed it was during periods of time where I wasn't using it every day. And that's when I realized that a dust cover was needed to keep the buttons and pots from getting dust inside and reversing the Deoxit cleaning.

I went with 'DigitalDeckCovers' (although there are other companies to choose from I'm sure. This is not an ad, trust me). I verified the size dimensions they came up with (you can get a cover for just about any keyboard/synth out there) and after shipping was about $50. Best $50 I've ever spent: When not using the A6 it is ALWAYS under the dust cover now and I've barely had a hint of an issue since the cleaning.

Just thought I'd throw this out there, hope it helps you as well!

I've had my A6 under dust covers since the year when Alesis went under, buttons and knobs still working fine to this day Smile
