This is a physical hardware controller for the Cherry Audio Quadra VST, every function of the VST is mapped to a button, slider or switch on the hardware controller. I then built the finished controller into a chassis with a 76 note midi/usb keyboard and a HP elitedesk 600 USFF PC thats powerful enough to run the VST with 6 cores and 16GB RAM. It only consumes 35W of power and has plenty of grunt and USB ports. I also added an external USB DAC to keep the audio quality instead of using the headphone output of the PC. The PC also has a 1080p touchscreen attached to control the PC is needed. The PC autoboots into the Quadra VST in about 20-30 seconds and is ready to use. It will recover from a power off, but I tend to shutdown the PC using the screen before truning off the PC. It has MIDI and USB inputs and the USB output can be used to control the VST if its running on your external DAW so it can act as a sound design tool.
