Sudden loss of all audio in G1 Keys

I'm just about to receive a G1 Keys that was apparently working fine and then suddenly lost all audio out ( outs 1-4 and headphone L/R outs).

This seems a very odd failure, as it basically would mean the 2x DACs are quiet and therefore the data feed from the DSPs has stopped. But given there are 4 DSPs, again a single point of failure seems very odd.

Just wondering if there is a component in the keyboard scanning section that may have failed (any ideas anyone). I also will check if somehow the user triggered a LOCAL=OFF setting somewhere.

Anybody with any useful suggestions please feel free to throw them my way. I won't have the unit until next week, so just want to start a list of things to work through when I get it open.
