Hi all,

my Nord Modular creates transient almost bitcrunched noise, howling, digital static sound noise, on all patches. It fluctuates dramatically, disappearing fora a few seconds then suddenly roaring back full volume. It goes away after an hour or so. It's clearly related to the signal processing because it only occurs when I the patch is generating sound. When the keys are not depressed there is no sound. Anyone have any ideas what is going on? I have tried it on different sockets in the house with no changes. I know how to diagnose some things on a analog synth, but here I'm at a loss.

Makes me think that the power supply is off .. broken .. whatever ,, but just guessing of course ...

You could measure the little PSU board ... but i have no ideas upfront as to what you should measure ..

I'm not seeing a published servoce manual for the Classic .. jist for the G2...
