Subject description: Module sends multiple identical cc:s when morphed

I hope thise is not reproducable and I'm doing something wrong. Otherwise it's a bug I believe. Did not find it mentioned when searching here.

1. Add a midi CC-send module and choose some CC-number.
2. Add a morph range to the value knob of the CC-send. Preferably the mod wheel as morph control.
3. Connect midi out to some midi monitor
4. Morph using the mod wheel
5. Check midi monitor

I get the same CC multiplied by perhaps 20. So for every new CC value it sends 20 identical messages. If I turn the knob on the actual CC-send module I get only one message per value as expected. I get the same behaviour using the internal knobs or Global Wheels (on G2X) as morphs.

This possible bug is also present in the Program Change - send module.

The morph controls affected for both modules are:
Knob, Wheel, Aftertouch, Sustain, Global Wheel 1&2 (G2X), Ctrl Pedal (CC#11), Pitch Bend.

A possible workaround is to connect anything (doesn't matter what) to any of the two inputs of CC or PrgCh modules. Then there are no duplicates anymore.

Hi, I cannot reproduce when I try to record the result in hardware sequencer. All values are only showing 1 time. Maybe I will try to retest with MIDI OX or a MIDI sniffer later. Cheers

Maybe the midi slot and global midi are involved. I forgot to check that. I'll look that up. I tried this on a G2X, if there's a difference there also? Did you use G2?

It can also be the sequencer filtering out duplicates.
Snoize Midi monitor will show all CC:s.

It's free but Mac only.

I had a look into this again. Global Channel or Performance mode makes no difference. Global Midi channel makes no difference.

I took screenshots from Midi Monitor to show.

1. Setting - modulation wheel makes the morph, slot channel is 1 so CC#1 is sent on channel 1 from the mod wheel in addition to the module itself. The yellow cable is plugged in point 3 not in 2. CC#3 is sent.

2. "too many": Turning the ModWheel. For each ModWheel CC there are plenty from the module with same CC-value (CC#3, channel 4). There's even a considerable lag in the module signal (channel 3). Note that the yellow logic cable (shown in setting.png) is not plugged in at this time.

3. "ok": After plugging in "nothing" (just a the yellow cale from an unconnected logical AND) the problem is gone. One CC from the module for each CC from ModWheel.

Since 3. makes the whole thing work as expected there is no other explanation or misconfiguration that explains it. This strange measure (just connecting something) would not make any difference if there was some other misconfiguration in my setup.

(sorry, the picture order got messed up, don't know how to fix that)
