Best summary found online:

"Since a digital transport is always located before a DAC in the signal chain, the sound of a DAC can only be as good as the digital transport is.

Let us be clear about one thing in high performance audio: There are no unimportant or negligible aspects- everything matters when it comes to maximum sound quality! Maximizing the sound quality of an audio system is a cumulative process , it becomes more than significant. That philosophy also applies to computer and music servers, even if they are galvanically isolated from the USB converters and DACs. There is a reason as why computer based audio sounds less appealing than some high performance CD transports and integrated CD players. The main reason behind that is usually maximum compatibility (that comes with additional hardware and software complexity) comes at cost of maximum performance, reducing software and hardware to a necessary minimum. In a way, approaching the simplicity of a CD transport/player is desirable. For a number of reasons, the quality of power supplies and interconnections for the computers and music servers is a very neglected aspect. Once those quality issues are addressed, the music servers cannot sound inferior in any way to anything."
(1)

* Hardware Strategies System with HiFi Digital Transport via USB with Seasonic TX-1000 audio grade PSU under construction (Hi End Compact Miditower loaded max 10% for low noise ripple hybrid mode). 10TB system & data backup ~230 MB/sec + 20TB OS & data: RAID0 ~450 MB/SEC... so 30TB total for two or more 24/7 OS for Hi End Mastering

* with STANDARD HiFi Digital Transport via RME HDSP (not USB) with Corsair AX1600i military grade PSU under construction (Hi End Tower loaded max 7% for low noise ripple hybrid mode). 20TB OS & data: RAID0 ~450 MB/SEC... for one or more 24/7 OS for Hi End RIP & Mastering

* Both machines perform extreme cybersecurity with many years of reverse engineering and microcode patching for CPU

Both setups require between 40-100W and the older machine with DDR3 RAM is much more responsive. Really like a real-time musical instrument. However DIVA runs at 768kHz in real-time only with 50% of the patches. The newer 7 year old CPU runs with all patches at 768kHz with DIVA and ACE on Harrison Mixbus. Bitwig Studio is limited to 192kHz. (2)

So both systems can run as streaming servers with a consumption below 40W and very low temperatures 24/7.

Currently installed to maximize the focus of the streams:

.SATA Filter to obscure HDD noise
.RAM Filter to reduce the CPU background noise
.BUS Filter to improve the CLOCK focus
.FAN Filter for reducing System Noise

More filters need to be ordered to complete the job at the moment 40-50 hours for both. (3)

A high quality Power Conditioner must be combined to reduce high frequency noise and maximize the stream focus.

Eurorack panel as RAID base. All unnecessary plastic and cables have been removed to reduce operator poisoning with flame retardant. Externally the removed plastic filters will be replaced with aluminum grids.

We are thinking about making NANO-Traps and would be welcome advice on choosing safe electromedical grade silicone to cover as much as possible and block environmental chemical pollution from cables and connectors.

Hi Perfomance Sustainable PCs built to preserve the health of people, animals and plants. So we get a full electromedical orientation 4 chemistry and electronics music.

*** Technology research conducted by Multiple Chemical Sensitivity patient with the help of extreme inflammation as a sensor. Corsair power supply stinks too much and is not recommended for patients with autoimmune syndromes. We have found fans on the market that are completely odorless, so the chemistry should be soft and safe. When plastic stinks, the chemistry is stiff and dangerous to health. These machines can handle (for a reasonably short period of time) Patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Electrosensitive and so on... For continuous daily use the system must be placed in a separate room from the operator. Obviously also separate air ventilation. By drilling the wall you could bring cables only for keyboard, mouse and video monitor and passive audio monitor for minimum pollution in the operating desk room. Computers, converters, pre, amplifier must operate in the server room separated from people for health safety.[/i]

.1 Real Time Kernel Quality, Operating System Settings and Liquid Lightness of WM like iceWm or more minimal, Renderer (player) perfection... are the starting point on which to develop a state of the art transport with ASMEDIA 10 or 20 GB/sec PCIe USB Host or PCI/PCIe DSP Card with Standard Protocols. It is the source that is the fundamental point of the whole chain. After comes the quality of the receiver, isolators and receiving transport power supplies, colck/reclock, DAC and output stage. When the output stage is passive purity or zero feedback, micro/nano detail and focus will be extreme. To learn to listen everyone can start from the Real Time Kernel.

2. This only with Cadence and old streaming libraries via AMD 65W TPD CPU. This for example works with AVLinux 2021, realesed in 2022 and updated to 2023. So for about a month in January and then hidden because the only UAC2 compatible version and immediately deleted and replaced in non-functional (AVLinux maintainer can only be poorly capable in understanding audio quality or a corrupted because the only working version for playback and mastering of the last 10 years). Cloneable OS on request. A high sampling rate is essential to get a decent sound with virtual synths. With modern operating systems since '23 we can no longer install Cadence for JACK. Avoid current AVLinux because it sounds terrible and those who still use Ubuntu should scrap it immediately because it doubles the latency. So with a new installation of debian, arch and so on we are limited to 192 kHz with DIVA and ACE in Real Time. However these old machines have a Real Time frequency of 1000Hz. With the new 4nm technology CPUs the AVX512 vector streaming protocol is present and the RT Kernel can be compiled and so it is possible to compile a Liquorix Custom Kernel with a frequency of 2000Hz to verify the functioning of DIVA at 384-768kHz in Divine Mode. AMD is preferable because with the best motherboards it is better balanced than intel and works with half latency audio. Double RT performance with the best Debian and MX distros or our Supersonic Seduction (based on antix).

.3 It has been dismantled, moved and reassembled several times. It is however difficult to be able to customize the machine in just 10 hours without having already tested the setup and already chosen the materials or special pre-built pieces. These two new tested cases cost little but can waste a lot of time. Just for the material of the latest updates it cost over 2K with minimum 100 hours of order management for the choice of accessories to test. Maybe it's already 2K5 (just ordered two more BUS-Filters to better isolate the PCIe asynchronous transport clock and because the old PCI card is good to enhance RME's revolutionary Stady Clock technology) but there are still two new HDDs for spare or for other new machines. Absolutely avoid non-volatile memories because they destroy the stream, causing frequency response distortion and a supersonic black hole in the crossover.

It seems that most users can't "hear" the supersonic frequencies but SSD vibrates a black hole in the monitors. Avoid SSD risk and... record/listen only 96 kHz and multiples to be equipped with vibrational grip and maintain energy and consciousness personally.

The all aluminum compact system with Seasonic TX-1000 power supply is almost ready. We have never seen anyone else use a Common Reaction Filter to reduce HDD noise. We are waiting for the new BUS Filters to better isolate the clock of the ASMedia ASM3242 Asynchronous Digital Transport. To maximize performance we use Furman AC-210A-E Video Power Conditioner and 5KW USB Cable Isolator by HiFiME. To maximize the streaming focus of the XMOS USB Receiver. With subsequent double optical isolator before and after the FIFO Reclocker 7+7KW by JLSounds.com (the two DSPs of transport and reclock should also give some isolation above the KW each... so ~20KW for PC ground separation in total).

Both fans push air in and follow CPU temperature. For desktop office use including firefox with online image viewing max temp 23 degrees centigrade. All 12 threads at 100% as Kernel compilation under 50 degrees. This with minimum rotation speed/ambient noise.
