I have had the G2 for just a few days now. I have a performance with my custom synths that I wanted to share... but I wanted to make sure that if I shared the performance file, the synths will go with it and not just some file saying to load patch such and such from such and such bank into slot such and such...

All individual patches and all details about those patches will be stored into the performance Some additional stuff like global tempo will be stored as well.

When you save a prf everyone having a g2 with the same or later OS will be able to open it.

Edit :

although later OSs will open the prf, they might not always be able to play it as sometimes there are slight changes in module resources needed on different OSs. This is a theoretical problem really, and only for ptaches having loads near 100%. I've seen it once or twice .. on .. god knows how many patches ...

Thanks a bunch... that is SUCH a cool feature! I have to say, this is by far my most beloved synth I've owned... I have been losing sleep over it- for real!
