Oh, oops. I thought that one looked like a conservative choice. I thought that stuff was like MP3 and DVD and so on and so I thought it'd be widely supported. It was actually the first movie file I ever encoded so it was bound to go wrong anyway.

It was a cool experiment regardless.

These format wars suck, I could never keep track of all those codecs and versions and closed weird formats that need some obscure player (which will then start mucking about in your OS settings....) Now I have VLC. If VLC doesn't play it I'm not going to watch it.
