Yeah, finding quite a lot of bugs, but i'm not going to release the next one until i've put lots of new feature in.
Bug list:
When unselecting buttons, focus is still on a previous one
The patch selection is out by 1
MIDI doesn't reset when changing patch
Anymore, let me know. |

That is a good point actually. Hmm.
Thats not a bug. Rather, it'll be extended to being able to select notes in any patch and hear them playing whilst you are in a different patch. Its the next step up of complexity. |

Good you didn't build any hardware yet :-)
Seriously, this could be really great fun, but it will need some thought & experimimentation. _________________ Jan

Thanks, this is already quite fun.
The bouncing ball mode from the video got me thinking, how about a pong mode. Balls bounce off the four edges as well as a moveable cross which bisects the main area into quadrants. The bounces can rise or lower the pitch depending on which wall is contacted.
And what about a quix mode? If your youngish, you may have to google that one |

I'm afraid not even google yields any light upon that one! |

Should have tried myself
It does not have a U in it.
http://www.classicgaming.com/rotw/qix/
It had a line which floated around, each end of the line would bounce off a wall, at different angles. The line was followed by 'echos' of itself. Very pretty for the time. The game sucked though.
If your 'instruments' were activated when crossed by this line (and its echos, might be interesting, or at least look nice. |

Damn, its too late now to try, but not late enough to notice that the soft synth cant cope ... quite good.
I'm gonne try a bit more tomorrow. Yes some light effects, or a simple visual indication of where it is would be nice, not as fancy as in the video of course, that would be overkill.
I should try this on a touch screen ... could be fun. Also I should make some G2 patches for it. Hmm, we've got a touch screen at my work, I'm gonna do a concert for 'm all, hope they will at least recognize it as sound ;-) _________________ Jan
