conceptual questions??

Hi people,

I want to get some concepts clear.

1. What is the difference between the Note Output and the Pitch Output of the keyboard module on the in/out tab?

2. How does the Voice No. Output of the status module on the in/out tab works? why does it returns those values (see patch).

3. Is there a way of manipulate the phase init of oscillators to avoid clicks of the sawtooth by fast attack? connecting the gate signal to the sync input of the osc the sawtooth begins at +64. What if i want it to begin at 0? I have tried with the OscDual module but i did not get the disired effect. Or the only solution is to use an LFO ??

1) The Pitch output includes pitch bend and glide info. It's the same info as in the modules with a KBT-button. The Note output is only the midi key (Note number) information. That's what it says in the manual, at least.

2) I don't know too much about voice numbers but the two examples in the manual made it clear to me, how it works. Here's the first of those patches: http://g2.sebastianberweck.de/content/view/162/54/. Many people asked about polyphony, so you'll find plenty information on that in the forum.

3) The clicking might rather result from too short settings on the envelope attack. Try setting the attack a little lower and the clicks are probably gone. Rob once did an extensive list on how to avoid clicks on this forum and I quoted it here: http://g2.sebastianberweck.de/content/view/288/54/
